Of course, Cartman’s idea of what a pirate is versus what they actually are turn out to be two very different things. Cartman has the romanticized Black Beard pirate image in his head, while these modern pirates are, well, sea faring thugs. But Cartman, being the idiot that he is, convinces a group of SouthPark children to abandon their old lives and journey across the world to the paradise that is Somalia. In case you didn’t know, Somalia is a tropical paradise. Dressed like pirates of yore, Cartman and his scurvy crew set off.
